We had our destination wedding at Turtle Bay. Living in another city is a bit nerve wracking as you never know what to expect. I must say we are so blessed to have Kalehua as our officiant! He was very professional over the phone. It was even more of a pleasure to meet him in person and you feel like family after leaving. Very organized, thorough and comforting. He gives a sense of ease and the ceremony was perfect. The ceremony was short and incorporates traditional Hawaiian culture. Mahalo!

We had our wedding on May 18 on Waimanalo Beach and it was the most wonderful day, made incredibly special by Kalehua's chants, blessings and wonderful aloha that he brought to the ceremony.  A beautiful surprise was adding our children to the ceremony with the mixing of the sand... It touched all of us so much and our guests were talking about the ceremony for days after... so many said it was their favorite moment of the trip to Hawaii.

 

It was everything a wedding could be and I can't recommend him enough for making it the most memorable day of our lives. Thank you Kalehua!

I was so happy with Kalehua's services. We met with him the day before the wedding. He went over the whole ceremony and answered a lot of our questions. We were looking for a more traditional Hawaiian ceremony and he delivered. It was not only our wedding but my in-laws anniversary and he renewed their vows after our ceremony impromptu. I would definitely recommend Kalehua.

Our wedding ceremony performed by Kalehua was amazing.  We had no idea that his ceremony was so traditional, cultural, spiritual and most of all beautiful.  When I first contacted Kalehua I had mentioned that I was originally from Oahu and had been living in Seattle for the past 15 years and wanted to have a wedding ceremony on the beach, barefooted with Hawaiian traditions.  Kalehua’s ceremony was so beautiful that my family was in “ah” and had mentioned that this was the most beautiful wedding they have ever witnessed.

 

The best moments were when each of us took a pinch of sand and mixed it together with his family which created ONE family.  We also loved the part where we went down to the ocean and presented the gift of Hawaiian ti leaf to our passing relatives.

 

We also had purchased our wedding ceremony DVD.  We had a wedding reception and enjoyed showing it to our mainland friends.  They also were in “AH”.  They loved everything about our wedding ceremony.  I truly encourage everyone to invest in Kalehua’s DVD.

 

We so much appreciate Kalehua and his assistant with helping us have a beautiful wedding,   Mahalo Nui!
