Your wedding/vow renewal/blessing date may be reserved by emailing reservations@weddingsbykalehua.com and providing your name, phone number and wedding/vow renewal/blessing date.  A representative of Weddings By Kalehua will contact you to obtain the needed information for your event and to make arrangements for payment of a deposit.  To the prices listed on this website, 4.712% Hawaii general excise tax will be added.  If paying by credit card, 3% credit card processing fee will be added to the total and an invoice emailed to you from Square.

BEACH PERMIT INFORMATION

The Department of Land and Natural Resources requires a beach permit to be purchased for any event held on unencumbered Stated public beaches, including but not limited to vow renewals, wedding ceremonies, celebration of life and blessings. The permit does not guarantee use of a specific locale on the beach, nor does it prevent others from being in that space. The permit places a limit of 30 people for each event. The remaining rules are explained in the General Terms and Conditions for Commercial Activity, Unencumbered Land, State Public Beaches.

Individuals may obtain the permit themselves, but they must have the required insurance coverage and have the permit printed and produce it on demand if asked. Weddings By Kalehua does have the required insurance coverage and will have the permit in hand on the day of the event for a fee of $65.00 for 200 square feet of space.
