Marriage and civil union licenses are obtained through the State of Hawaii, Department of Health, located at 1250 Punchbowl Street or at the various locations listed on the website on the link List of License Agents

Click on this Department of Health link to learn about and apply for your marriage or civil union license online.  Payment of $65 ($60 for the license and $5 service fee) may also be made online.  If you choose to apply for your license personally at the Department of Health office, you may do so; please bring cash payment of $65 with you.

To obtain your marriage license document, you must appear in person before the agent at either the Department of Health office or any license agent’s location.  A photo ID or passport must be presented to verify your identity.
